Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 05/16/2018

Trading was moderate on mostly moderate demand for all 
feeders on offer. Offerings were in light to moderate 
flesh with a few cattle in moderate plus flesh coming 
out of backgrounding lots. Good demand was seen for high
quality pairs. Prices are fob with a 6-8 cent over and a
3-4 cent under slide on all feeder cattle on offer. All 
lots are to be sorted, and weighed on the ground with a 
2-3% shrink on all offerings. Supply included 57 percent 
steers and 43 percent heifers. 100 percent of the offering 
was from the Northcentral Area. 57 percent of the sales 
weighted over 600 lbs.
