 *JRS will hold a Special Value Added Sale this Thursday, June 22nd,
 expecting 6000 head of preconditioned cattle. Sale time 7:30 a.m.***
 Compared to last week, steers and heifers under 700 lbs 5.00 to 8.00
 lower, spots 10.00 lower, particularly on calves under 600 lbs, Heavier
 weights steady. Sharp losses at the CME put pressure on local feeder
 cattle trade. Quality slightly below average ahead of Thursday's
 preconditioned special. Still good demand for heavy yearlings, with prices
 matching or in some cases just surpassing last week's market tops. Supply
 light to moderate, demand moderate.  Feeder cattle supply included 46
 percent Steers, 0 percent Dairy Steers, 51 percent Heifers, 0 percent
 Cows, and  3 percent Bulls. Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 47
 percent.
